    1. Willem Jakobus Joubert, son of Johannes Stephanus Joubert and Cornelia Maria du Toit, was born on February 17, 1847 in Somerset East, Eastern Cape and died in 1935 at the age of 87. He married Alida Elizabeth Johanna Cloete (first cousin), daughter of Christiaan Cornelis Cloete and Alida Elizabeth Johanna Joubert, on May 23, 1870 in Aliwal North, Eastern Cape. She was born on November 12, 1846 in Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape and died on March 23, 1917 in Belfast, Mpumalanga at the age of 70.
