Izaak Nieuwoudt, son of Isaak Nieuwoudt and Johanna “Anna” van Wyk, was baptized on July 16, 1730 in Cape Town, Western Cape. He married Dorothea Elizabeth Hertzog, daughter of Johann Barthold “Bartel” Hertzog and Anna Maria Roos, on May 20, 1759. She was baptized on July 10, 1740 and died on June 11, 1832 at the age of 91.

Johanna Maria Nieuwoudt, daughter of Izaak Nieuwoudt and Dorothea Elizabeth Hertzog, was baptized on July 12, 1761 and died in 1816 at the age of 54. She married Petrus Johannes Theron (niece-in-law’s great-uncle’s son), son of Carel Theron and Susanna du Plessis, on May 2, 1784. He was baptized on January 6, 1765 and died on April 18, 1834 in Tulbagh, Western Cape at the age of 69.

Heremias Nieuwoudt, son of Izaak Nieuwoudt and Dorothea Elizabeth Hertzog, was baptized on February 28, 1773 in Paarl, Western Cape and died on December 26, 1851 in Toon Bothasfontein, Richmond, Northern Cape at the age of 78. He married Jacoba Louisa Hendriks, daughter of Johannes Jacob Hendriks and Maria de Leeuw, on July 24, 1796 in Cape Town, Western Cape. She was born on January 18, 1778.

Heremias Hendrik Nieuwoudt, son of Heremias Nieuwoudt and Jacoba Louisa Hendriks, was born on February 13, 1806 and died on November 24, 1867 in Karriboschpoort, , at the age of 61. He married 2 times. The first time he married Anna Maria Theron (uncle’s father’s great-niece), daughter of Pieter Carel Theron and Aletta Catherina Steenberg, on April 8, 1832 in Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape. She was born on March 25, 1811 in Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape and died on July 29, 1838 in Sneeuwberg, Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape at the age of 27. The second time he married Judith Johanna Haarhof, daughter of Pieter Josua Haarhof and Judith Johanna le Roux, on December 13, 1838 in Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape. She was born on October 1, 1818 in Sneeuberg, Dist. Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape.
