Jacobus Myburgh, son of Gerrit Myburgh and Anna Cecilia Olivier, was baptized on February 9, 1783. He married Martha du Plessis (sister-in-law’s great-aunt’s niece), daughter of Gabriel du Plessis and Magdalena Maria Venter, on March 21, 1802 in Cape Town, Western Cape. She was baptized on February 10, 1787 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape and died on November 3, 1858 at the age of 71.

Anna Cecilia Meyburgh, daughter of Jacobus Myburgh and Martha du Plessis, was born calculated May 1808 and died on November 15, 1896 in Doornhoek, Boshof, Free State. She married Jan Brits (niece’s son-in-law’s wife’s great-great-uncle’s son), son of Rudolph Marthinus Brits and Dina Carolina Brits, on January 21, 1825 in Cradock, Eastern Cape. He was born on October 21, 1803 and died on August 3, 1869 at the age of 65.

Philippus Arnoldus Meiburgh, son of Jacobus Myburgh and Martha du Plessis, was born on September 5, 1818 and died on December 2, 1884 in Palmietfontein, Dist. Smithfield, Free State at the age of 66. He married Johanna Susanna Nienaber (second cousin), daughter of Jan Hendrik Nienaber and Maria Jacoba van den Berg, on December 26, 1838 in Colesberg, Northern Cape. She was born calculated August 24, 1823 in Klippoort, Colesberg, Northern Cape and died on August 26, 1888 in Palmietfontein, Dist. Smithfield, Free State.

Jacobus Brits, son of Jan Brits and Anna Cecilia Meyburgh, was born on January 12, 1828. He married Cecilia Helena Christina Brits (first cousin once removed ascending), daughter of Johannes Jacobus Frederik Brits and Catharina Elizabeth van der Linde, on February 26, 1849 in Colesberg, Northern Cape. She was born on July 29, 1827.

Gert Roelof Brits, son of Jan Brits and Anna Cecilia Meyburgh, was born on September 12, 1836 and died on August 19, 1912 in Biesempan, Boshof, Free State at the age of 75. He married Maria Jacoba Meybürgh (first cousin), daughter of Philippus Arnoldus Meiburgh and Johanna Susanna Nienaber, on August 17, 1857 in Bloemfontein, Free State. She was born calculated 1840.

She married Gert Roelof Brits (first cousin), son of Jan Brits and Anna Cecilia Meyburgh, on August 17, 1857 in Bloemfontein, Free State. He was born on September 12, 1836 and died on August 19, 1912 in Biesempan, Boshof, Free State at the age of 75.
