She married Johannes Jacobus Frederik Brits (great-aunt’s aunt’s grandson’s son-in-law), son of Rudolph Brits and Johanna Petronella Oosthuizen, on January 2, 1825 in Cradock, Eastern Cape. He was baptized on October 20, 1781 and died on May 11, 1864 in Boshof, Free State at the age of 82.
