    1. Maria Cecilia van Kerken, daughter of Gerrit van Kerken and Cecilia Vivier, was baptized on July 19, 1739 and died on May 27, 1770 at the age of 30. She married 2 times. The first time she married Christiaan Gerhardus Rasp (brother-in-law’s step-sister’s step-son’s father-in-law), son of Christiaan Rasp and Geertruyd Nauta, on January 27, 1760. He was baptized on December 14, 1721. The second time she married Jan Harmen Nieuwoudt (granddaughter’s son-in-law’s uncle’s first cousin), son of Gerrit Nieuwoudt and Johanna Steenkamp, on November 27, 1768. He was born on February 5, 1740 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape and died on January 12, 1822 in Clanwilliam, Western Cape at the age of 81.
