Jannetjie Sophia “Johanna” Bock, daughter of Michiel Nicolaas Bok and Johanna Sophia “Jannetjie” Steenkamp, was born on March 29, 1790 in Groenrivier, Onder-Bokkeveld, Dist. Clanwilliam, Western Cape and died on February 27, 1840 in Groenrivier, Onder-Bokkeveld, Dist. Clanwilliam, Western Cape at the age of 49. She married Heremias Cornelis Nieuwoudt, son of Jeremias Cornelis Nieuwoudt and Jacoba Botma, on February 7, 1808 in Tulbagh, Western Cape. He was born on December 14, 1787 in Klynfontein, Clanwilliam, Western Cape and died on March 4, 1859 in Dist. Calvinia, Northern Cape at the age of 71.

Gerrit Christiaan Jacobus “Gert” Nieuwoudt, son of Heremias Cornelis Nieuwoudt and Jannetjie Sophia “Johanna” Bock, was born on September 3, 1813 in Bokkeveld, Calvinia, Northern Cape and died on March 30, 1847 at the age of 33. He married Maatje Catharina Kotze, daughter of Theunis Gerhardus Kotze and Aletta Catharina Carstens, on January 3, 1836 in Clanwilliam, Western Cape. She was born on August 25, 1818 and died on March 27, 1881 at the age of 62.

Aletta Catharina Nieuwoudt, daughter of Gerrit Christiaan Jacobus “Gert” Nieuwoudt and Maatje Catharina Kotze, was born on May 28, 1837 in Willemsrivier, Bokkeveld, Calvinia, Northern Cape and died on December 17, 1879 in Zoutpan, Calvinia, Northern Cape at the age of 42. She married Thomas Petrus Arnoldus Theron (third cousin), son of Petrus Lodewicus Theron and Christina Sophia Hough, on August 7, 1854 in Calvinia, Northern Cape. He was born on February 10, 1832 and died on July 17, 1899 in Calvinia, Northern Cape at the age of 67.
