She married Heremias Cornelis Nieuwoudt, son of Jeremias Cornelis Nieuwoudt and Jacoba Botma, on February 7, 1808 in Tulbagh, Western Cape. He was born on December 14, 1787 in Klynfontein, Clanwilliam, Western Cape and died on March 4, 1859 in Dist. Calvinia, Northern Cape at the age of 71.
