Jan Lambrertz Myburgh, son of Lambert Myburgh and Aaltje Albertz, was born in 1665 in Buiksloot, North Holland, Netherlands. He married 2 times. The first time he married Anna Maria de Laar on November 9, 1687 in Cape Town, Western Cape. She died in 1697. The second time he married Sophia Zank on March 15, 1699. She died in 1759.
